Boynton Beach Police Officer Indicted For Dealing Methamphetamine

The Boynton Beach police officer who was voted 2010 “Officer of the Year” was indicted for conspiring to possess and traffic 500 grams of methamphetamine. David Britto, 28, is accused of drug dealing from June 2009 until March 4, 2011. If convicted, Britto faces a potential sentence of life in prison. “The Boynton Beach Police Department vigorously polices itself, and this case is an example of how law enforcement routes out corruption from within its own ranks,” said Police Chief G. Matthew Immler.
