Football player Brett Favre’s sister, Brandi Favre, was arrested this week at a methamphetamine laboratory at a condo in Diamondhead, Mississippi. Brandi Favre, 34, was charged with manufacturing methamphetamine and generating hazardous waste, according to the Hancock County Sheriff Maj. Matt Karl.
Favre and four others were arrested with about nine grams of methamphetamine in their possession. The street value of the drug is about $1,000 dollars.
The region has had a decline in methamphetamine laboratories since the ban on pseudoephedrine. The ingredient in over-the-counter cold and sinus medications is one of the primary ingredients used to manufacture crystal methamphetamine. Brandi Favre has long had a problem with drugs.
