Fifth graders at the Heartland Christian School in Ohio recently completed their first Drug Abuse Resistance Education program (DARE). The program encouraged the children to avoid destructive behavior, and the positive results were not lost on the school administrator. The DARE program was uniquely tailored to the needs of the school.
“That is tremendously comforting to me, and I believe to our families as well,” said Heartland Christian School administrator Dallas Lehman.
The program showed the children to rely on their families, their school and on their Christian faith rather than be tempted by drugs when things don’t go their way.
