District Court Judge Jack Camp Pleads Guilty to Drug Possession

Last week a federal judge pleaded guilty to two counts of drug possession. Senior U.S. District Court Judge Jack Camp also pleaded guilty to paying a stripper to purchase drugs for the two to use together.

Camp also pleaded guilty to one count of conversion of government property for giving the stripper a government issued laptop computer. Camp, 67, recently retired from the bench. Federal prosecutors accused Camp of giving 26 year old Sherry Ann Ramos money to buy marijuana, cocaine and roxicodone. The two often used the drugs together.

On October 1 Camp was arrested by FBI agents after he attempted to buy drugs from an undercover officer.
