Chester Marcol played for nine years with the Green Bay Packers. During that time, Marcol struggled with addiction, abusing alcohol, crystal methamphetamine, heroin, marijuana, LSD, Ritalin, cocaine and prescription drugs.
Marcol has written about his journey from addiction to recovery in his book, “Alive and Kicking: My Journey Through Football, Addiction and Life.”
Marcol is now a drug abuse counselor in Michigan. He still struggles at age 61 to stay clean and sober, but is thankful for his experiences.
