In Memory of Father Ron Beshara
Father Ron Beshara was a beloved presence here at the Road Less Traveled program, now Road to Freedom. He passed away quickly in September of 2011, after a brief bout of illness. He touched the lives of so many of our patients, staff and those in the recovery community.
We consider ourselves fortunate to have been passed on unreleased articles written by Father Ron. We have decided to publish them on the Road to Freedom blog as a way to honor his memory and celebrate his legacy.
Anyone who was lucky enough to have known Father Ron knows how special he really was. He had a gift for connecting with people. He had a gift for lifting them up and helping them to heal from the ravaging disease of addiction.
We hope you find inspiration in his messages in the upcoming weeks..
We have a favor to ask from those impacted by Father Ron Beshara. If you have any memories or stories on how he has changed your life, please feel free to comment below. Add to the conversation to preserve his memory. We all have an impact on those we cross in this life, we hope his upcoming blogs will impact you as positively as they have us.
Loss for Christians
“For the Christian, death is not the end of adventure, but a doorway from a world where dreams and adventures shrink, to a world where dreams and adventures expand forever” – Randy Alcorn
“Let not your hearts be troubled. Believe in God; believe also in me. In my Father’s house are many rooms. If it were not so, would I have told you that I go to prepare a place for you? And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and will take you to myself, that where I am you may be also. And you know the way where I am going.” – John 14:1-4
