A crystal meth lab caused a fire in an Ohio nursing home, killing one person and injuring six other people. One of the residents of the Park Haven Nursing Home in Ashtabula, Ohio, was making the drug in his room.
The nursing home was built in 1950 and had 31 rooms. According to the fire chief, the nursing home currently had 39 names on its patient roster.
Methamphetamine is a highly addictive drug. When it is made in makeshift labs, it is extremely flammable and combustible, resulting in many explosions and fires.
