New Christian Treatment Center
The Angel House of Georgia is a new women’s Christian treatment center in Gainesville. “We want to give them hope,” said Bettye Barbani, the program director. The faith-based center is the brainchild of Angela English. “I’m not an addict, but I have been able to see the other side of how drugs affect the family. I’ve been affected by it. I’ve been living with someone that’s a drug addict. That’s not pretty.” English funded the treatment center privately, but hopes grants and donations will make Angel House an affordable option for women seeking to turn their lives around.
