Anna Nicole Smith Case: Prosecution Has New Recommendation

The prosecution team in the case against Anna Nicole Smith‘s psychiatrist and boyfriend is now recommending that the judge in the case give them felony probation, community service hours and fines, instead of a jail sentence.

The suggestion to Los Angeles Superior Court Judge Robert Perry means that this week’s sentencing could take a different turn than previously expected. Dr. Kristine Eroshevich and Howard K. Stern were convicted of obtaining prescription drugs for Smith under many different false names.

Smith died in Florida in February of 2007.
