Racing for Recovery
Todd Crandell has completed 19 Ironman Triathlons and is one of only 25 people in the world to have completed both the Hawaiian and Canadian Ultraman Triathlons. In 2001, Crandell founded Racing for Recovery, a program combining support groups with fitness to help people overcome drug and alcohol addiction. Crandell estimates that 40,000 people have experienced Racing for Recovery in some way, including addicts and family members.
The program focuses on drug and alcohol addiction and shows people that sobriety can be achieved. It is an organization that helps people through the love of fitness.
