The Treatment Center of the Palm Beaches Road to Freedom Christian Program invites you to our first annual Restoring Hope: Winning The Battle Over Addiction- A Family Focus – Spring 2012 educational conference.
At this year’s conference, counselors, pastors, and lay leaders will gain a deeper understanding of the complicated issues that families face when confronted with a loved one suffering from addiction. The half-day conference will cover addiction as a family disease from a Christ-centered perspective. Effective methods of intervention and support will be presented by experts in the field.
Dr. Rick Amato – Christian Evangelist with over 35 years experience working with America’s churches as well as in over 47 nations globally. He is the founder/president of The War on Addiction™, a secular program designed to reach the nation’s young people with education and motivation to prevent/interrupt addiction.
Pastor John Poitevent – He is a graduate of Palm Beach Atlantic University, and has been at Christ Fellowship since May of 2007. He is a regular speaker and group leader at the Road Less Traveled and an advocate for the recovery community in the church.
Allison Good – Through her diverse experiences and responsibilities with Spanish River Church and multiple church plants from Croatia to Haiti to Deerfield and now The Avenue Church in Delray Beach – Allison discovered her ministry calling. Through her own battles with numerous addictions, abuse and her ministry experience in these areas, Allison loves nothing more than to watch the transformation God works in people’s lives.
