The Breaking Free Recovery Center hopes to help people struggling with drug and alcohol addiction celebrate New Year’s with a worship service and a party. The Center is part of the Reformed Church of Bushkill in Pennsylvania and is a nondenominational, faith-based group that hopes to help lead people to a healthier life.
“The world is full of addiction – money, power, sex, gambling, potato chips – we use a lot of these things to help us feel better,” said Rob Rozsay, program director and clinical counselor of Breaking Free Recovery Center. “We are all recovering from something. A relationship, your dog died, nobody gets through life without dramatic experiences.”
Rozsay hopes people will come to the Center for the New Year’s Eve party, and then decide that their New Year’s resolution will be to use the services at the Center to achieve sobriety in 2011.
