Pastor Patrick Trindade
Pastor Patrick provides practical and spiritual guidance for patients transitioning from inpatient to outpatient treatment at The Healing Center. His love and compassion for those suffering from addiction and addictive behaviors brought him to The Treatment Center. With over 5 years’ experience working as a faith-based facilitator with Road to Freedom, he became a full time pastor at The Healing Center.
For over 25 years, Pastor Patrick’s ministry has focused on addiction, recovery and Biblical Counseling. He founded a thriving church in Lake Worth called Greater Grace, then transitioned as a Life Group Pastor, Elder and Biblical Counselor at New Community Church in Wellington. He has lead life groups for Christ Fellowship and other local churches in traditional 12-step recovery and faith-based “Celebrate Recovery”, and other recovery curriculums. He authored a recovery curriculum based on spiritual identity in Christ, as a believer in recovery called “Truth Therapy”.
As an ordained pastor, he is a member of Florida Men of Integrity. He obtained his Certificate of Biblical Studies at Maryland Bible College and Seminary and an additional certificate as a Biblical Counselor. Helping others see the value and potential they possess while serving and sharing God’s love with others is the most rewarding part of his job.
Pastor James Exline
Pastor James is living proof that God still works miracles. Although he lived in the bondage of addiction for over a decade, following 10 weeks in rehab, God called him to minister to alcoholics and drug addicts like himself. He is currently a ministries major at Palm Beach Atlantic University and a member of the leadership team of Celebrate Recovery at his church. James is humbled and grateful to say, “I now have a life filled with purpose and meaning, peace and joy. Only God could do this!”
